This the web site of the Hapu of Ngati Te Ika a major Hapu of the Iwi o Ngat Maru ki Taranaki. Now registered as a charitable trust to help achieve the aims set out on this web site.
The recognition of this Hapu is paramount in the development of a new direction for those who Whakapa to it.
It is the intention to foster education and job opportunities, business ventures development of the land and resources that have lain dormant for many years. Our Rohe cover a large expanse of land with very few towns and population centres.
There are however many opportunities including forestry,farming,culture and ecotourism potentially available. We the steering committee have a vision and a capability to pursue these opportunities with your help and support
